NZTD app

The NZTD app is free and includes the following features:

• You can use it to scan your passport details directly into your declaration. 
• You can create one or more profiles for yourself and others. Useful when travelling as a family or group, details are stored for each profile, and information will be pre-filled in the declaration.
• If you’re travelling as a family or group and completing multiple declarations, you can select to copy your travel details into another declaration/s. All submitted declarations will display together in the app.
• You can use the app in offline mode and save your declaration, which you can then submit at a later time when you are back online. 
• The app is available in multiple languages which can be selected from the menu bar on the app homepage. Answers must be in English. For a full list of languages available, see the support and resources page. 

You can create one or more profiles for yourself and others.  Access this feature in the menu option in the app. We recommend starting with your own profile first.

• Create a profile by providing your contact details, including email address, phone number, New Zealand residential address, and passport details.
• Saved profiles are stored on your device.
• When you start a declaration select the profile you want to use from your list of saved profiles. Information stored for that profile will be pre-filled automatically in the declaration.
• You can add, edit and delete profiles in the Manage profiles section.

Please note:

• The NZTD app may not be available in some international regions that use app/app-store blocking. Travellers can still complete a digital declaration using the online form. 
• For maritime travellers, the NZTD app is only available to travellers arriving in New Zealand on a cruise ship.
